CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) is the
realtime display of speech in readable text form. Remote CART
is simply the delivery of this content via the internet. We listen
to your event
via the telephone or an Internet connection, then “steno” (or
write) what is being said. This content is then transmitted back
over the Internet to a computer display which you or your
group can read.
Common venues for Remote CART
include court hearings, depositions, business meetings,
Webinars, classes, conventions, town hall meetings, legislative
hearings and medical or other personal appointments.
